And just so you know - until now I didn't know you shouldn't plug 3 pin to 4 pin, I didn't know it can cause damage to lights. Again - I tried different positions, swaps and nothing worked. I've moved the cable back to 3 pin, GPU changed colors to random, but I wasn't able to control them through SignalRGB anymore. I've put my PC back in it's place, plugged in everything, started it and then I see my RGB on my GPU isn't lighting up. After opening it, I had to unplug said RGB cable for a minute, and - for an unknown reason - instead of plugging it again to 3 pin, I've plugged it to 4 pin. I've unplugged it from everything and took it to the other room. So I was finally able to setup my GPU lightning through SignalRGBįast-forward today - I've been doing some cable management in my PC.

But then it failed, so I tried other positions, and I even plugged it to a 4 pin header, which I then didn't know it was dangerous.īut then it finally worked - for some reason it was my first setting that was right, but for some reason I had to try some wrong positions for it to work. I didn't do much of a research beforehand, but I remember my first try was plugging it to a 3 pin header on my mobo (Gigabyte B550 Gaming V2) in a way that arrow on that cable was pointing towards V pin. I used SignalRGB as my RGB software and to test if my new connection works. The cable is 4 pin though, female-female (couldn't find a 3pin extension anywhere). About a month ago I bought a RGB extension cable to utilize this GPU's lighting sync. I have a Sapphire Radeon RX 6950 XT Nitro+.
